Problem Note 41240: Lowercase date formats are not recognized by Dimension Designer to generate default hierarchies

DetailsAboutRate It

If you enter a format in lowercase for a date column within a table's metadata properties, you might not be able to add the supplied time hierarchies in the Dimension Designer within the Cube Designer wizard for SAS® OLAP Cube Studio. If this is the case, the below message will be displayed:

There are no columns with date formats in the "Time" dimension.
Creating supplied levels require at least one column in the time
dimension to have a date format.

The Dimension Designer does not recognize the lowercase form of the date format. Therefore, to circumvent this issue, make sure if you modify the format property for date columns on tables to be used as input to an OLAP cube that you enter the date formats in uppercase.
